Your name is used to personalize my e-mail responses back to you, when you request for lists of homes for sale or rentals, from my web site and for questions or concerns you may have from my Q&A Forum.
Phone numbers are used if there is a need for me to contact you to clarify information or if I have not heard from you, to check to see if you received my e-mail response. Phone numbers are also used in case I need to contact you regarding homes you wish to see.
Your E-mail address is a vital piece of information for me, because without it there is no other way to send you lists of properties you have requested. I use Homestead as my web site management program and when I receive a form submission all I see in the Sender window is HOMESTEAD, and in the Topic window, YOUR WEB SITE RECEIVED A FORM SUBMISSION. I rely totally on the information provided to me by you as to who you are and how to contact you.
E-mail addresses are also used on occasion when I send out bulk e-mails explaining the present housing market (about four times a year), new listings I have or to wish you holiday greetings.
There are only two instances when your name and phone number would be shared with another party:.
LENDERS—If you wish to be pre-qualified for a mortgage loan, I would forward your name and phone number to the lender of YOUR choice. All lenders are chosen by you, the buyer. So you will always be aware ahead of time if a lender is given your information.
REFERRALS– If you wish to rent or buy a home in a county or state not within my working area, I will provide your name and phone number to a professional Realtor who lives in the area you wish to reside. I will contact you first though if you need referral services.
Never will your e-mail, phone number or name be sold, distributed or shared with any other party. As a Realtor, I subscribe to a strict code of ethics to always look out for the best interest of my clients, which includes confidentiality. I assure you I respect your privacy, and your personal information is safe with me.
If you notice, my web site does not ask for mailing addresses, or for you to register first with your personal information before being able to access any of the pages. I try to keep my web site user friendly. I figure, if you are interested, you will let me know.
